As the first overseas Continuing Professional Development (CPD) training centre for teachers recognised by the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Education, Suman has developed strong links with provincial and local government bodies across Jiangsu. These relationships have created valuable opportunities for UK organisations seeking to engage with partners in the region.
Suman is also a key member of the Sino-British Education Consortium, which promotes educational and cultural exchange between China and the United Kingdom. In this capacity, Suman has supported, organised and delivered a wide range of exchange events and activities.
In addition, Suman has helped dozens of schools establish sister-school partnerships, facilitating mutual visits, joint projects and long-term exchange programmes. Through its extensive professional and community networks, Suman’s premises have also become a hub for Sino-British engagement, regularly welcoming local authority representatives, mayors, business leaders, school delegations and representatives of the Consulate General of the People’s Republic of China in Manchester.
Close collaboration with local schools, colleges and universities has further enabled Suman to build strong connections within the wider community.
Guided by the motto “Investing in People and Continuous Innovation”, Suman is committed to accountability, professionalism, efficiency, teamwork, quality assurance and effective management. It aims to support the international development of Chinese education while providing a broad platform for Sino-British educational, economic, social and cultural cooperation.
Through this work, Suman seeks to strengthen mutual understanding, friendship and long-term relations between China and the United Kingdom.
